Welcome to KTH Program Distribution (previously KTHCD)
KTH ProgDist gives you, as a student at KTH(*), the
opportunity to download software to be used on your own computer in
connection to your studies. This does not include employees,
PhD-students and researchers.
This is a complement to the computer lab rooms you have access to in
your education at KTH.
What you get access to through KTH ProgDist is software
licensed by KTH, links to recommended free and shareware programs and
eventually handled offerings to you as a KTH student to buy software
privately at benificial prices.
(*) THS connected students as well as non THS connected students with
certificate from the course management.
Rules for KTH Program Distribution
The "Rules for computer, network and system facilities"

that you have signed when you got your computer account applies.
The software is avaliable for personal use and is to be uninstalled
when you're not an active student at KTH anymore.
KTH's licenses are education licenses and are not to be used for commercial
purposes or for installation on company computers. As for the shareware
programs where KTH have not financed a site license, the continous user is to
pay the license fee personally.
Access to software
In order to download software from KTH ProgDist you have
to login with your kth.se account and password. Please note that you
have to begin your username input with "UG\" as in "UG\username".
All downloads are logged
for license and statistical purposes.
